The room was dusty and I could smell the mould. Further the tub had no shower curtain which kept the floor damp after shower. The room does not service everyday which the front desk mentioned on checking it. Cleaning the room every 3 days could be why the room is so dirtily maintained. Further the hallways were really smelly. The elevator was so rickety and shook and made jerky noises.

The room was neglected for sure. Smelled like a combination of mildew covered up by fresh paint... Not entirely surprised as these types of properties tend to neglect their rooms. The staff at the front desk was very nice, and for the two days I stayed there at the price that it was offered what more can you say. I would not stay here again unless it was a last option as was this case. The bed was also very worn out, but as I said, not that surprising. I did the see the price for tonight was nearly 100 more than what I paid and I would have been very upset if I got the same room at that price.

La Quinta Inn & Suites is located in a nice neighbourhood close to lots of amenities. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms however are dated. The carpet felt mucky when i walked barefoot in the room, it was so bad my white socks turned black on the bottom. The bathtub looked dirty prompting me to first clean it before using it. It is peeling and just cannot become white. Other than that we had a pleasant stay.
