This is a decent hotel that can accommodate your overnight needs. The room they gave us had an issue with the toilet as it kept running after the first use. After we spoke with the front desk they moved us promptly to another room. Breakfast was included and had an assortment of cereals, eggs, yogurt and bread. Overall the hotel is a little dated but will do for a weary traveler.

Stayed here as I needed a stopover on a drive from Edmonton to Whitehorse. The Lakeview is fine. It's clean, it's quiet. It's convenient and well priced. Nothing bad, no concerns, but also there is nothing to really make it standout or make you say Wow. Having said that, I will stay here again on my next drive to/from Whitehorse, as seeing the other options in Fort Nelson, this is probably as good as it gets. Don't go to Fort Nelson looking for something to do in the evenings though. The area around the hotel is bleak. Just other hotels and motels, gas stations. That's about it.

It was an older hotel that is beginning to show its age. Does need some regular maintenance. The shower head was tightened so that it aimed into the wall so you basically had to stand up against the wall to be under the water. It was quiet and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was not bad.
