The problem with this Hilton Garden at Miramar beach, room carpet is dirty, need to clean the shower has mold on the sliding door. We spend $2000.00 for 5 nights, they didn’t clean the room only change the towels.

We noticed that the carpet was wet but thought maybe it was from kids being wet from the pool but the shower leaked bad. Also, the sheets were not changed out because there was small bits of hair, food, stains, etc. Totally uncalled for and unprofessional.

Seems that cleaning doesn't mean actually cleaning

The room was just not clean from the moment we checked in. Not vacuumed well and generally just unkempt. I do not at all like that housekeeping is only every ohter day, and even on the one day they came, bedding was not changed, nor was room vacuumed again. We had added sand and food since checking into the already poorly cleaned room, now it was worse. Only one cup when we arrived, asked for more the first night at the desk, and then no cups still added after housekeeping supposedly cleaned the room. Ran out of toilet paper, not refilled, had to ask, and same with tissues. Toilet paper holder was also falling off of the wall. I did track the housekeeping staff down and asked them to vaccum and she brought in a tiny light duty vacuum which did nothing and then dropped it leaving a huge pile of grime she then vacuumed up, only partially of course, using the same crappy vaccum. The AC was so loud when running that it sounded like a machine shop and the TV had a line down the left side, too. The location cannot be beat so despite that I didn't love this stay or this facility, we would stay again ONLY because it's a short walk away from the beautiful Miramar beach!
