No Pillow pilfering Here

No amenities really. Clean room but after going out first day we came back and 2 pillows were missing from our room. The management give detailed list of items and cost for each at check-in IN CASE visitors take anything. I feel this was part of a scam to charge us 20.00 each for the pillows taken. The housekeeper said no one took any pillows from room so owner assumed we did (we definitely did not). Won't stay again because of this issue... Seemed too sketchy. Just left and hope that the pillows won't be taken from my deposit since I reported them missing as soon as I realized vs waiting for them to say anything. Guess we will see. Lots of other properties close by that offer breakfast/gym/ nicer pool for similar price.

Smoking room, not requested, charged extra for the same room in non smoking. Reservation said sleeps 5, arrived and was charged extra for a 5th person but only had beds for 4 people. Ended up having to rent an additional room. Very strong mildew smell in all rooms.

Plumbing Issues, don’t care attitude

Room was nice and clean for a Older hotel. Toilet wouldn’t flush, called front desk, they directed me to a plunger outside by the ice machine. After trying to fix it myself, just gave up. At check out I told clerk about the situation and she didn’t seem concerned. Due to the plungers being outside by the ice machine , for your own personal use. This evidently is not an unusual occurrence.

Good budget stay!

It IS a 3-story motel, simple, nothing fancy! But very clean, my room with great marina - water view! Next to couple seafood restaurants and bar, but I didn’t hear much noise. The couple allowed me to check-in early when the room finished cleaning. Great price, but the rules are a bid strict, I didn’t mind the deposit to cover potential damage, and they refunded quickly. I would like to see they offer a longer, off peak time rate with a discount (monthly, allow some ocasional light cooking! (Which I received at Home 2 by Hilton)
