Check in was super easy. The house was cute and clean with everything we needed. Owner was kind and helpful - even turning the porch lights on for us as we arrived after sundown. Will definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Upon arrival and walking in the front door, we were greeted by a wasp. My wife is allergic. After killing said creature, I proceeded to walk to the kitchen where we found another one. Killed and directly proceeded to tell the host he has an infestation problem and we wanted to cancel our stay along with refunding our money, and booked a room at the local hotel. The host said he was sorry about the wasps and agreed to our cancellation. Now here we are 48hr later and the host has decided he only needs to refund half. It’s unfortunate that he chose to change his mind and it’s somehow our fault that wasps were on the property. Please do yourself a favor and book a room at the Avid hotel down the road. The price is the same and you don’t have to be under the blankets all night in case you have an unwanted guest. Also make sure you’re driving a compact car…parking is tight and the driveway shares with the house beside it.
