Holiday home Donjon is a cosy, comfortable accommodation with a sunny terrace with veranda. The attractive accommodation has recently been renovated. The accommodation is located on the ground floor of the manor of Château Latour and is fully equipped. You can park on site.
The holiday home is located 300 metres from the centre of the typical French village of Fours. There you will find all amenities such as a bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, bank with ATM, doctor and garage. Larger supermarkets are a little further away.

The terrace with veranda has garden furniture. The garden is fenced and therefore perfectly suitable for children and dogs.

Holiday home Donjon has a living room with open kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom with walk-in shower. Internet access is available throughout the accommodation (fibre optic). The kitchen is fully and completely equipped including fridge-freezer, coffee machine, kettle, oven, cooker and dishwasher. The living room has a dining area and separate seating area. Bedroom 1 is spacious and has a twin bed (or two single beds if desired), as well as plenty of storage space for clothes. Bedroom 2 has two single beds. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and toilet. A high chair and cot are available on request.

Holiday home Donjon is located in a rural setting, surrounded by a beautiful hilly landscape with vast fields with grazing cows. The domain Château Latour is surrounded by a very spacious garden with a lovely swimming pool. The surroundings are green and calm.

The large outdoor pool is quiet and shared with our other guests. The accommodation is small-scale, so no crowds in and around the pool but plenty of space for everyone. The pool is childproof with a fence all around, has a veranda and plenty of grass for lounging. The large garden of the country house has a number of trees for shade in the afternoon sun, a trampoline and a football field.

The surroundings are idyllic with the hills of the beautiful Parc du Morvan nature park in the distance. The immediate area is extremely attractive for those seeking peace and quiet, lovers of the outdoors and those who love wine and good food. The surrounding landscape invites you to go for walks or bike rides (e.g. Canal du Nivernais with its beautiful 180 km flat cycling route) directly from the accommodation. Motorcyclists can also get away very well on quiet roads, beautiful countryside and picturesque villages.
Nearby, there is a vide grenier (attic clearance) or brocant market in several places almost every weekend.
Burgundy has a lot of cultural heritage. Visit the historic cities of Autun, Nevers, Beaune, Vezélay or the Celtic excavations of Bibracte with its fantastic museum. Take a nice canoe trip on the Loire, admire nature in natural park Morvan, play golf or go karting. Discover the gastronomic delights of the region with the delicious Boeuf Bourguignon, Coq au vin, Burgundy wines and countless other regional specialities.

There are restaurants in the area, from good and simple to star-rated. If you don't want to cook yourself one evening, join our table d'hôtes (guest table). We serve a delicious 3-course menu with mostly regional dishes and always fresh products. Weather permitting, we set the table outside where you can always enjoy the food, the pleasant table talk and the beautiful sunsets and starry skies.

For the wine lover, there is more than enough to taste in Burgundy. This can also be done on site. We have carefully put together a wine tasting of various delicious Burgundy wines and will be happy to tell you all about it in our wine cellar under the manor house.
Holiday home Chevannes is located between beautiful wine regions: Sancerre and Pouilly Fumé in the east, Chablis in the north, Côte de Nuits in the east and Mâcon in the south.

On request, we can replace one of the single beds with a cot and set up a high chair.
When using from 3 persons both bedrooms are available, when using up to 2 persons one bedroom. Using two bedrooms is possible at an additional cost.
Linen is changed weekly. Towels are changed daily. Bring your own pool towels but you can also rent them. Pets welcome (at extra cost). Should you not wish to prepare your own breakfast, we will be happy to serve it for you (at extra cost).
