You pay for location which is inside the park. Good service and good breakfast. It seems to be overprice for hotel itself, but again you pay for location.

Durch die einmalige Lage ist man als Gast in die Natur eingebunden. Sehr gute Organisation der Transporte mit ökologischer Philosophie. Das Personal arbeitet mit Begeisterung (vom Gärtner, zur Bedienung, zum Reinigungspersonal und allen anderen).

Super Delux Hotel direkt vor den Wasserfällen. Dort zu übernachten lohnt sich. Das Personal und der Service ist top. Die Ausstattung inkl. Pool und Garten sehr schön. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist wunderbar und es gibt sogar Prosecco in Selbstbedienung. Das sollte man sich einfach mal gönnen, auch wenn es das Reisebudget etwas verringert. Zu empfehlen ist, den Wasserfallweg vom Hotel zum Hauptwasserfall nach 17.30 Uhr oder vor 8.30 Uhr zu gehen, denn dann schliesst der Park. Nur noch Gäste vom Hotel Belmond dürfen dann die Wasserfälle besuchen. (Hotelkarte mitnehmen, es gibt Kontrollen) Dann ist man praktisch alleine ohne hunderte von Touristen.

Alles Top! - und noch paar Tips ...

Pros: Lage, Ruhe, Ambiente und super Pool.
Cons: Die Bar schliesst bereits um 23h. Mangels alternativen Möglichkeiten, ist dies eindeutig viel zu früh.
Preislich eher an oberer Grenze - jedoch stimmt auch die Leistung. Das Belmont ist sicher die viel bessere Wahl als auf der argentinischen Seite das Melia, welches nicht nur zu teuer ist - sondern auch in den Leistungen viel schlechter da steht. Mein Tip um die argentinische Seite zu besuchen: Fahren Sie mit dem kostenlosen Shuttle oder Parkbus bis zum Parkeingang. Vereinbaren Sie hier mit einem Taxifahrer die Fahrt zum Pauschalpreis - inkl. dem nötigen Stopp an der Grenze. Wir haben pro Fahrt 150 Real bezahlt. Es hat alle besten geklappt. Auf Wunsch wird der gleiche Taxifahrer Sie Abends gerne auch wieder zurückbringen. Andernfalls stehen auch hier am Eingang genügend Taxifahrer bereit. Sie können überall im Park auch in brasilianischer Währung bezahlen.
