I'm not happy with the restaurant service. Too much delay from order to get the plate in the table and, also, the food was bad for the price that paid. Amazing pool and excelent custemer service.

The service was not good at this place. The rooms lacked basic amenities. There was no chair only a bed, their was no iron, instead though they would iron your clothes for a fee. I’ve never stayed in a hotel that didn’t have an iron, or a chair, or hangers. I ordered room service and it was supposed to be an sandwich with egg meat, cheese. Instead what they sent me was a essentially a grilled cheese, with the meat and the egg served on the side. I speak Portuguese so I know that this is not what I was supposed to get. The only water that was available for washing and showering was scalding hot, there was no cold water. The pool is nice but for a business traveller I’d never stay here again.

The hotel transfer us to other hotel far from Rafain about 20km and lower category. It was a trouble as the congress was running in Rafain. They said they had a problem with the room. They only provide one room for the last night only because I complained. They should pay attention on the needs of the guests.

Two Different Hotels Named Rafain

The hotel was okay, but it was the wrong one. I thought I was booking Rafain Centro, in the center of town, but it turned out that I booked Rafain Palace, several kilometers from the center. The hotel was okay, but not what I thought I was getting, and not at all the location that I wanted.

Hotel very nice, room dark and musty

This stay in November 2014 was in connection with a conference, otherwise I might have chosen a more central hotel. The hotel is fine if one has a rented car. The hotel lobby and restaurant and pool area were truly very nice, but our room - 342 - was very musty (damp and somewhat smelly) and rather dark even in the middle of the day because of trees outside the balcony. Our swimsuits would not dry there.

Not a US 4 start hotel

The hotel is currently in the midst of a major renovation and upgrade. I think that it was probably nice in the past but the decor was dated and would love to see what they do with it.The service was great and with an updated look this place could be truly nice. Breakfast was good each morning.

O hotel está reformado. Área das piscinas reformulada, está muito bonita. A piscina infantil estava fria (junho). Uma piscina adulta estava climatizada e agradável. O quarto reformulado e confortável. O café da manhã atende as expectativas e o jantar estava muito bom. Destaque para a recreação. Tios e tias animados, responsáveis.

Hotel é bem localizado e amplo Academia com boa infra ( nota 07/10) Quanto ao hotel, tem estacionamento interno gratuito. A recepção é bem ampla. Conta com muitas salas de reuniões e centro de exposiçao para eventos. As piscinas são amplas e foram reformadas, além de ter uma aquecida ( mas que no frio é complicado de usar por ser aberto). Os quartos, peguei um triplo luxo. É razoavelmente grande mas esta necessitando de reformas. Chuveiro não esta esquentando. O chuveiro dei nota 05 de 10 sendo um grande detrator. A cama idem é boa mas poderia ser melhorada ( nota 07 de 10) O café da manhã é bom mas nada demais ( nota 07 de 10) Staff gentil e bem solicito Valor da diaria de ref para junho paguei em torno de R$700 para 1 casal e 1 criança de 3 anos.
