Hill Hideaway - Soaring Views - Newly Renovated - 5 Mins to Frankfort

High above blue waters, this comfortably cute cottage offers sweeping views of Crystal Lake, Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, and even Lake Michigan! Soak up the wide views with lawn seating, charcoal grill, picnic table, and bonfire ring. Frankfort beaches, restaurants, breweries, coffee shops, and shopping are a short 5-10 minute drive away. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Point Betsie Lighthouse, boat launches, hiking and bike trails all nearby! The remodeled kitchen is stocked for home cooks, and the spacious sunroom is the perfect place to socialize with loved ones indoors with a picturesque view. Recently installed A/C units provide the ideal temperature for sleep in both bedrooms!

Hill Hideaway is peacefully tucked away on a semi-private hilltop with four neighboring family homes, each with their own clearly defined areas for privacy. With a remote location feel, yet close proximity to Frankfort (only a 5 min drive), guests can easily explore the area and retreat to this welcoming, recently renovated, and fully functional cottage.

Hill Hideaway cottage was updated with families in mind, and can sleep 5 comfortably in beds. The primary bedroom has a queen bed accessible from both sides. The secondary bedroom's bunk bed has an XL twin perched above a queen; perfect for three children (or an adventurous adult who can climb to the upper bunk). Both bedrooms have a mini-split/heat inverter unit for cooling or heating, depending on the season.

A chest filled with games and puzzles entertains on rainy days or evenings, and the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, drinkware, utensils, kids' plates/cups, pots and pans, and modern appliances-- including dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and tea kettle.

Star gazing is a summertime favorite with a dark sky overhead! The northern lights make occasional mid-night appearances, a treat for night owls. Keep an eye out for bald eagles who like to soar on lake breezes high above the water.

Guests have private and exclusive access to the entire cottage, front yard patio, side yard with seating, lawn space, and circular parking area. The gravel driveway is shared, and the private parking space can fit 2-3 vehicles comfortably. There should be enough room for guests with a boat trailer (please check the aerial photos for a bird's eye view). Self check-in is via key-code at the front door, at your convenience. Let us know if you'll arrive after dark and we'll leave an exterior light on for you.

PLEASE NOTE:

- The enclosed shower is SMALL, which may be challenging for some.

- Beach towels NOT provided.

- Smart TV - Guests will need to login/out of their OWN accounts.

- Firewood NOT guaranteed- please plan to purchase your own at nearby roadside stands or convenience stores.

- NO fencing! The cottage is located on a hillside and the drop-off is covered by underbrush and wild foliage; young children will need to be watched while in the yard.

- Crystal Lake is NOT walkable from this hilltop location, as it is surrounded by private property. Guests will need to drive 5-10 minutes to public access points along Crystal Lake and Lake Michigan.
