We had an amazing time! The property was exactly as described plus more. Location couldn’t have been better in proximity to the half Ironman. House was well stocked with all that you’d need. Set up was perfect for our two families. Kids loved the bunk room as well as the extra room downstairs for our teens. We utilized the bikes a ton as well as the outdoor sauna and solo stove. We had a wonderful time and communication with the owner was above and beyond. Thanks for a great weekend!

Great place near Lake Michigan

Four of us stayed here for the Ironman 70.3 Triathlon weekend. It is a great place. Stocked with several basics needed to cook, eat meals, bathroom supplies, etc. Less than a 1 mile walk down to the town/restaurant area/water. Clean. Very easy check in. Minimal requests for check out. Would recommend and stay again.

Super cute, fun AND comfy!

We stayed for a long weekend with our two adult children and their significant others and our teenage daughter. The home was updated, really cute and hipster deco’d. We enjoyed the fire pit, swing, corn hole, woodland fairy hut and sauna. The beds were really comfortable too, which is a rare find in my book. Location was perfect. Loved it and our time together.

Even better than we imagined!

My whole family said they thought the listing looked nice, but what we came to was even nicer! We've tried many different spots in Frankfort and will definitely return to this one. We had everything we needed for cooking, and space to hang out both inside and out, on the rainy day the sauna was exactly what we needed. It wasn't downtown, but still a short walk to the beach. Thanks!

Very very nice

The cottage was exactly as described. Comfortable beds, a beautiful fire/picnic area with lights strung in the trees. This cottage was probably the best-appointed vacation property I’ve ever rented. The kitchen supplies/utensils were numerous and in good condition. The games and beach supplies were perfect. Over all, a really great place to stay. The property manager was very nice and quick to respond to any questions. We will book again.

Great place in Frankfort, Michigan

Half Mile Cottage is a great house located under a mile from downtown Frankfort, Michigan. The place is clean, well-stocked, with a lot of amenities (fire-pit, ping pong table, and sauna). House is tucked into some trees and neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. We had two families (four adults and four teenagers) and plenty of room for everyone. We loved this place.
