The room was really clean and the staff were lovely. Check in was very fast and easy and the staff all spoke very good English which was very helpful! However, unfortunately the area around the hotel felt very unsafe. Lots of homeless people and immigrants around the local area, near the central station. We felt like we only felt safe once we got into our hotel room. Evenings and night time felt especially unsafe.

Elevator didn’t work and no one was there to help you carry luggages. The front desk said we mentioned that in our website!!! But when i booked through expedia I didn’t see such info! The place was horrible. We had to park two blocks away. The elevator was broken, the pillows were stained as well as the furniture. It was fo bad we left and found another hotel eventhough we had paid for this awful places.

Room not the cleanest. Toothbrush left behind. Elevator not working for 2 months already. Receptionist said it wont get fixed until 2026. No staff to help bring the luggages. Guests have to bring their own luggages.

The elevator has been broken since June.. when I inquired as to why it was still broken I was told it was the cost of repair. So there is NO plan to repair it. I was on the second floor which is 55 steps from the lobby …. Carrying a 55lb suitcase. EXPEDIA is also responsible… the should be REQUIRED to post it BEFORE being available to book it. It’s a SAFETY issue. Now I don’t trust Expedia either. All Expedia wants is the commission… for doing NOTHING.

We booked for three days. The elevator was not working, and it was difficult for my husband, who uses crutches, and no one seemed to help carry the luggage. The room was very stuffy, so we had to open the window. No hair dryer was available, and the showerhead needs to be changed. Close to the train station, but it is quite far from the old town.

It has two sides

I have stayed here a couple of times before and greatly enjoyed the older but very good condition of the property (except the elevator that doesn’t work). This time, however, we were put in a room that could only be called shabby….the rug, the curtains, and the table in particular, were just that. The bed was comfortable. Everything including the bathroom was clean, the halls and downstairs fine. It still is very convenient to the main train station.

The elevator in the hotel was out of order for our 7-night stay. The refrigerator in my room did not work. The hotel did not have air conditioning. We could open the windows, but there were no screens, so the mosquitoes came in. Trying to sleep while swatting at mosquitos does not make for a good night’s sleep. When we booked the hotel, we wanted breakfast to be included. When we got there, we found this meant that breakfast was available for a fee. The hotel was not in a desirable part of Frankfurt. The bathroom was small but adequate. The hotel was clean, and the room was taken care of every day.
