The room was clean, staff nice but area around hotel felt so dangerous especially as a solo female traveller. I even felt the need to uber to the airport rather than walk the 5 mins to the train station

Excellent stay from start to finish :) Check in was very smooth and the room was spotless and cleaned every day. Breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly and professional at all times. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to friends and family.

I would have given this hotel a full 5 star rating, but for the horrendously vulgar artwork in the bathroom of my room 131. It features a collage made from a large number of images of items probably supposing to show what a having a good time in Frankfurt looks like. And in amongst these images are pictures of red high healed shoes, a thong and contraceptives. Female sexuality reduced to a vehicle for (presumbly) men having a 'good time'. The whole thing made me hugely uncomfortable. I was in Frankfurt for business, not to act out some sexual fantasy. I would be embarrassed to take my children here and I wonder what people of other cultures make of this.

The location and the aesthetics of the room were nice but our room was freezing. The heat only went up to 23° and the windows went sealed because all the cold air from the window could be felt. The little bit of heat never went below my raised hands and I'm 5'1. We asked for two extra blankets but only received one. There is no phone or microwave in the rooms. So if you need anything, you must go downstairs to request it. The one thing that was actually a plus was the hot water and shower pressure in the shower. It made the stay tolerable.
