The town is also close to many outdoor recreational attractions—North Fork hiking trail, Spruce Knob, Nelson Rocks, Seneca Rocks, and Seneca Caverns, to name just a few! The South Branch of the Potomac River runs throughout the area and offers excellent kayaking and fishing opportunities.
