Our room was very clean and smelled nice. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom and shower were great. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was great with good variety and quality and the coffee and hot water machine was always available. We loved the fireplace in the lobby with the sofas and easy chairs. Ample parking. Close to downtown. Overall a great stay. Great value for the money. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area.

Stairwell lighting is very poor and you have to use stairwell as there isn’t an elevator. Love the real wood fire and hot apple cider

I stay at this hotel often, my daughter attends McDaniel College. Check out is at 11 am and one of the housekeepers started knocking on doors shortly after 10 am to "see if they were occupied". I travel 4 hours one way and try to get as much sleep as possible before making the trip home. I found it very rude and disruptive for the housekeeper to be knocking on all of the doors, especially before check out. I was getting dressed when she knocked and had to hurry to the door because I was afraid she would just open it if I didn't answer her immediately. This has never happened during a previous stay and it makes me apprehensive to choose this hotel again in the future.

The hotel is close to many restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast is nice to have with different options and the 24-7 coffee machine is wonderful.
