Beautiful romantic cottage, located minutes of Main Street.

BURN BAN EFFECTIVE - Gillespie County Burn Ban is ON, Effective Monday, February 2, 2026: Attached please find a local DECLARATION OF DISASTER & ORDER RESTRICTING OUTDOOR BURNING related to imminent threat of wildfires. Restrictions: NO open fires/burning and NO smoking.

As a result, outdoor wood-burning fire pits are NOT permitted. This mandate is enforced by the city and county and is beyond our control. You are welcome to use Gas fire pits and BBQ grills, if applicable. For charcoal grills, please allow all hot coals to cool completely inside the grill before disposing of them. Please review the property listing to confirm the type of fire pit and grill available, if applicable. If it is discovered that the fire pits/chimineas/outdoor fireplaces were used or wood was burned during your stay, a fine starting at $100 will be applied. Very nice, walkable to city center during the day. very dark at night! Quiet, well equipped for two people. Very easy access. We did not take advantage of the hot tub or fire pits due to climate conditions outdoors. Perfect get away for two!

Beautiful property in a great location

You can tell a lot of care has gone into the property by the owners. It’s beautifully furnished and decorated. It was very clean. The location is ideal because it’s close to the main downtown area but it’s also at the edge of a neighborhood where it was next to field so it was quiet. We enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and watching the lightning storm and all the deer that ran through the field. The bed was comfortable as well. We would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. We also loved the owners testimony about God providing them with this rental. Their heartfelt words made our stay even more special.
