We really enjoyed our stay at Crooked Tree Hideaway. The house is super comfortable, well-maintained, and having so much space was a nice treat for the two of us.The back deck is a wonderful spot to hang out—the views are beautiful, and it’s such a peaceful place to relax. It’s also in a good location: far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside, but close enough to easily head into town to enjoy everything Fredericksburg has to offer. Best of all, it’s a fantastic spot for stargazing at night. We’d definitely recommend it to any other couple looking for a relaxing, welcoming place to stay.

The house and decor are beautiful. We wanted to be away from the crowds. As a birder and star gazer, the location was perfect. Lambs munch on the surrounding grass. One morning we woke up to their lovely calls. I was concerned about water pressure as other vrbo’s in the area had comments about it, but the water pressure here was good. There is a second living room upstairs, but since we were a foursome, we did not use it. My only complaint would be the lack of small things like tissues. There was plenty of soap and TP, but no trash cans in the bathrooms. Again this is small and can easily be rectified. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.
