Eight acre wooded country setting with two bedroom cabin. One queen bed in each bedroom. Full kitchen with all necessary essentials for cooking, bathroom with tub/shower and living room, with 2 double bed futons in living room. Heating with electric floor heaters keeps the cabin comfortable. Air conditioning is provided by three through the wall window air conditioners. Covered wooden deck has outdoor table with six chairs and one lounge recliner chair. Located approximately sixteen miles from Fredericksburg, Texas. Three miles from the scenic Willow City Loop and twenty four miles to Enchanted Rock. Located on popular bicycle and motorcycle route. Owner residence is on property. Abundant deer and other wildlife seen daily.

I booked this precious cottage for my equally precious in laws. They couldn’t have been happier with their stay. They raved about how immaculate the place was. How kind the owners were and how much peace they were able to enjoy during their stay. They said they don’t want to stay anywhere else the next time they visit Fredericksburg. This was such a cute little place to stay. We really enjoyed it. The beds are so comfortable! It was rainy much of the time, so we didn't get to enjoy the outside area except for watching the deer and a plethora of birds through the window. The owners are great to communicate and work with. The popular emenities lists laundry, but there are no laundry services. There are laundromats in town. It's super cute and only 20 minutes from town. I recommend staying here.

This makes our third visit to the Country House Cottage, and it has become our exclusive place to stay, for trips to Fredericksburg and the surrounding areas. It is so peaceful, and the hosts are the kindest, most accommodating people you can imagine. The peace and quiet and Texas wildlife visiting daily are worth driving the few miles to reach this exclusive, wonderful place. We will definitely return!

Sunday school retreat

It was very relaxing and the cottage was very cute and had all the amenities you would need or want. Going to Fredericksburg was perfect for special eating out and shopping and just having a good time. Wonderful Place thoroughly enjoyed it.

Our Favorite in Fredericksburg
