Lone Star Cabin No. 5 is located just 5 ½ miles east of downtown Fredericksburg on US Hwy 290 right in the middle of a number of special destination points. The Cabin is approximately 900 square feet in size with a large Primary Bedroom, King size bed & closet, and large bathroom. The floor plan includes a living room, kitchen Island with seating and full kitchen (open concept). There is a smart TV in the living room. The Cabin has a front and back covered porch areas with rocking chairs.
During your stay at this cabin, you're just a quick walk from Barons Creek Vineyards. The cabin includes amenities such as a kitchen and a balcony.

Perfect place

We had a three night stay in cabin 5. Everything was just as it was in the pictures. Furniture and decoration was top notch. This place was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. Enjoyed watching the deer that were next to the property fence. Just a short drive to downtown Main Street. I would definitely stay here again.

One of the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at

We were really impressed with the lovely cabin- it was just as pretty, well decorated and comfortable as the pictures showed. And the dishes, utensils and kitchen supplies were even really nice (not like in some rentals where they are just cheap and don’t match). The manager was very friendly and helpful. These people went all out to make this vacation spot a home away from home. One of the best VRBO (and VERY clean too!) we’ve ever stayed at. Definitely would return :)

We have stayed here 3 times. Never disappointed. Close to town and a ton of wineries. Directly across from the brewery is a great plus too. We will continue to stay here when we come to town. Everything is always in tip top shape and very clean/organized.

Comfortable Lodging

We enjoyed our stay in Fredericksburg and found the cabin comfortable and quiet. It’s in a great location and the decor/bed was very modern. Our only recommendation is to update the kitchen amenities. If you intend to cook, be aware that the spices/oils are very limited and the kitchen lacked some basic items, including a can opener (it was broken), no trash bags, salt/pepper, no Kleenex, and no foil/Saran wrap. I don’t mind buying some items and contribute to the greater good for all guests, but some of these items should be a requirement for a furnished VRBO rental. Otherwise, a lovely stay and I would recommend the cabin!
