I was not aware that i would have my door leading to the outside - or that i had to carry luggage upstairs. Which was a struggle and took multiple trips Usally hotels/resorts have an elevator and doors lead out to insoor airconditioned hallway . Website should show tbat situation. Now i know to ask

Came in relatively late and just needed a good night's sleep. Nice and unique hotel with character. Nice, clean room. Hot water, real soap bars that are not microscopic. Nice stay!

If you are staying in Kerrvile, this is the place

This is THE best stay in Kerrville, the staff is caring and friendly. The rooms are super quite and clean, the pool is amazing and you will meet amazing people at the pool. I highly recommend. Also, the pub has great live music and Fridays Karaoke.

Our stay was great. Lost our reserved room to rescue teams so they upgraded us to the Presidential Suite which was pretty nice except there is no elevator on site and the suite is on the second floor. The room was a bit dated but nice. Always enjoy the Inn of the Hills.

Nice place, but our room was not non-smoking!

The Hotel is nice and in a nice area; however the room smelled like someone had been smoking in it for years. The hotel was housing many first responders due to the flood, so we didn't request a room change. My wife is sensitive to smoke, so needless to say it was not a pleasant, restful night's sleep.

After the Flood

We made our reservation before one of the most deadly flooding event in Texas history. The town was devastated. We only had 1 night reserved and after the flood, we contacted the Hotel to see if they would need us to cancel our reservation to allow for access by Emergency responders. They said it was ok so we kept it. The town was loaded with strangers but everyone we encountered were gracious and helpful, I was grateful to have been able to experience the small amount of the crisis that they were going through. May God Bless each and every one of them and hopefully my next visit there will be under more relaxed circumstances.
