I had an excellent stay. Only there for one night. While this was not a fancy hotel, it was however clean and reasonably comfortable room. I would definitely stay there again.

The property is in a great location for visiting Fredericksburg & the surrounding area; easy to get to. The king size mattress in my first room was so extraordinarily hard I asked for a different room. I was switched to a room with two queen beds adding up charge of $50 for the remaining three nights, which was fine. It had a clogged sink, but while I was out for the day, that issue was rectified. Good bathroom lighting & water pressure.

Quaint place to stay

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and nice. The mattress was a bit too firm for my liking. The smoke detector in the hallway started going off at 9 am and kept stopping and going off for a while. The breakfast selection was very good. The rooms were very sound proof.

The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. I hated that the AC ran all night and didn’t shut off when the room reached temperature, but it’s whatever. I had a nice stay and would stay here again.

The breakfast is better compared to many other hotels in the same categories. Their service was excellent, i.e. the check-in was quick and smooth, food was refilled right away; the quality of the food (breakfast) was very good and fresh. I highly recommend the Wine Country hotel.
