Freiburg is such a lovely city where you can enjoy the old city center but nature is within minutes of walking. the hotel is in a great location. People are relaxed and friendly in this part of Germany. I’ll be back.

The hotel and its location are extremely good. The staff very friendly and helpful. There were two disappointments! Firstly and especially during the height of summer the room should have been equipped with a small fridge and tea and coffee making facilities. Secondly we missed having our room made up on two occasions during our stay.

This hotel was a perfect place for 2 nights in Freiburg. Right in the Rathaus Square in the city's Old Town with bars, restaurants and cafes nearby. Close to main railway station and also to surrounding hills for walking. The staff were very helpful and friendly. It was a relaxed atmosphere and from my room, quiet at night. Breakfast provided options for all. Great place to stay.

Very difficult to get to with a private car since it is in a no traffic zone. Would recommend parking outside the no traffic zone with a small, hotel shuttle van.

Central and lovely

Great location just a 10 minute walk from the train station. Right in the centre of town just a couple of minutes from the cathedral. Bed was comfortable and bathroom clean with good shower. Breakfast was nice with a lovely setting in a cool bar area. Great hotel in a perfect spot.

Excellent Boutique Hotel in Old Town Freiburg

We had a fantastic stay at this boutique hotel in the heart of Old Town. We stepped out the door right into the Christmas market. The room was newly remodeled with modern furnishings. It was a decent size for Europe and very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and quiet. The bed was on the firm side. Good breakfast in the morning. Excellent, cozy bar with great service. The whole team was terrific. Since it was Christmas Market season, we opted to park in a public garage about 5 minutes walk away rather than the hotel's underground garage. The traffic was nuts, and we didn't want the hassle of navigating the car through the crowds. We highly recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Das Hotel ist modern und schön eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind sehr ansprechend. Besonders toll ist die Lage. Schade war nur, dass die zwei gebuchten Zimmer auf unterschiedlichen Stockwerken (2. und 4.) lagen.

Das Hotel liegt mitten im Zentrum, so das man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann. Es ist modern gemütlich eingerichtet. Insbesondere der Bereich für Frühstück und Bar hat mir gefallen. Das Frühstück war gut und vielseitig, dennoch finde ich 25,- pro Person dafür ziemlich teuer. Auch die Tiefgarage mit 30,- pro Tag fand ich ziemlich happig. Alles war sauber. Im Hotelzimmer hat mir nicht so gut gefallen, daß das Bett nur 1,60 breit war. Außerdem gab es kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten. Der Nachttisch war unterhalb der Matratze, sodaß er schlecht zu erreichen war und das Licht viel zu niedrig zum Lesen war. Es scheint in modernen Hotels öfter so zu sein, daß Design über Funktionalität steht. Trotzdem hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt und haben uns im Hotel insgesamt sehr wohl gefühlt.

Tolles Hotel mitten in Freiburg - beste Lage. Modern, sehr komfortable Zimmer und tolles Frühstücksbüffet. Schöne Bar, um Abends noch etwas zu trinken. Die Mitarbeiter waren super nett und hilfsbereit - so macht ein Hotelaufenthalt spaß, wir kommen sicher wieder

super zentral gelegen. Ideal, um zu Fuß die wunderschöne Stadt zu erkunden, auch mit schönen Lädchen. Sehr saubere und renovierte Zimmer. Charmantes und freundliches Service-Team. Dadurch, dass sich das Hotel quasi mitten in der Fußgängerzone befindet und derzeit viele Baustellen, Sperrungen und enge Einbahnstraßen sind, war es für uns schwierig, mit dem Auto-Navi in der Nacht, dorthin zu finden. Die E-Ladesäule in der Hotel-Garage ist zwar vorinstalliert, aber war zu dem Zeitpunkt leider noch nicht in Betrieb gewesen.
