The hotel seemed old, needing a good touch up everywhere, carpet in our room had many stains, broken towel hook. Breakfast was ok, staff ok. Stayed in several hotels in nearby towns throughout the week while visiting the national parks, but this one was the most expensive in the worst condition.

They double booked my prepaid room to someone else and then upcharged me for a worse room. They said there would be no upcharge, and then charged me. They claimed I had not called although I did. This hotel is a franchise and Choice Hotels would not help me. Do not trust this hotel. Also, the elevator did not work.

The elevator was broken so we had to climb 3 flights of stairs. The hot tub was drained and under construction. The bed is creaky and hard, but everything else was fine.

Breakfast 6-9am is weekdays only, Weekend starts at 7 so was unable to eat before a volleyball tourney that started at 7am. Main reason I booked was breakfast, low cost, indoor pool. Also elevator inoperable, room on third floor.

Staff were great. First room I stayed in one side of the bed sunk in, the other uneven. The bedsheets were stained with a large old stain and splatters. The tiles on the floor moved. The walls were stained and the carpet smelled. I spoke to the front staff who moved me to another room, which was an improvement. The only improvement with the new room was the stable bed.

Upon checking in, we were notified the elevator was down. We did get a room on the lower level; unfortunately, it was right next to the stairs. We heard EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE coming and going all night. It was the absolute worst. Mind you, we asked to move rooms about 15 minutes after we walked in. They said they couldn’t move us because we booked with a 3rd party. The mattress was awful. Will not book here again.They slide the checkout form under the door in the morning also which was weird.

Carpets were very dirty, and the bed was not comfortable at all. However, the staff was very nice and helpful. The elevator was not working as it was being renovated. The young man that was checking us in offered to carry our bags up the stairs for us.
