Wunderschönes, gut isoliertes und ruhiges Ferienhaus mit großem, umzäunten Garten. Die einzigen Geräusche sind Hühner, ein Pfau und Vögel. Dank der fehlenden Lichtverschmutzung bietet sich bei klarem Himmel ein herrlicher Sternenhimmel. Das Ferienhaus ist ideal für zwei Personen, für vier Personen jedoch etwas eng. Die Betten sind sehr gut und die Schlafzimmer gut abgedunkelt, sodass Sie wunderbar schlafen können. Das WLAN ist ausgezeichnet. Das Badezimmer, insbesondere die Duschkabine, bräuchte dringend eine gründliche Renovierung. Das Duschen ist jedoch angenehm, mit gutem Wasserdruck und ausreichend Warmwasser. Ein Auto ist unbedingt erforderlich, da das Ferienhaus ländlich gelegen ist. Die Lage ist aber ideal, um die gesamte Halbinsel Cotentin zu erkunden, wofür man gut eine Woche einplanen sollte. Im Haus finden Sie zahlreiche Unterlagen. Die Betten sind bezogen und Handtücher werden gestellt. Bei Ihrer Ankunft erwartet Sie ein Willkommenspaket. Sie können direkt einziehen, da der Schlüssel im Schloss steckt. Kurz gesagt: Wenn man über die mittelmäßige Reinigung und die renovierungsbedürftige Duschkabine hinwegsieht, verbringt man einen wunderschönen Urlaub an diesem einzigartigen Ort in der Nähe von Saint-Mère-Église. Wir hatten dort eine tolle Woche.

een mooi huisje met heel veel ruimte om de deur en onze hond kon mooi vrij rond lopen in de volledig afgeschermde grote tuin. Een gezellig klein huisje maar groot genoeg voor 3 personen. Dicht bij de invasie stranden en we hebben zowel Omaha Beach als ook Utah Beach bezocht en ook nog een bezoek gebracht aan het Airborne museum in Sainte mere Eglise; een mooi dorpje op 10 minuten rijden vanaf het huisje. Ook nog even naar de Amerikaanse begraafplaats geweest wat zeer indruwekkend is en waar je stil van word. Nog een dag naar Le Mon Saint Michel geweest; wel wat verder rijden (140 KM.) maar zeker de moeite waard. Al met all zeer tevreden over dit fantastische verblijf in Normandie!!

Die Boulangerie ist sehr unterschiedlich: der Garten gepflegt, für die Hunde toll und man sitzt sehr schön und uneinsehbar von Nachbarn. Das Haus ist im EG sehr eng und zum Teil nicht wirklich sauber (Flächen sauber, aber die Ecken und Winkel mit viel Staub und Spinnweben), die Betten etwas durchgelegen, das Bad ist okay. Die Sitzgelegenheiten sind nicht (mehr) so bequem und die Küche ist das größte Manko. Kaum Platz um Lebensmittel unterzubringen oder um etwas zu schneiden. Wirklich unangenehm ist der Schrank in dem das Geschirr und Besteck aufbewahrt wird, da dieser moddrig/ schimmelig riecht, wahrscheinlich weil das Haus in den kühleren Monaten nicht beheizt wird. Die Boulangerie hat sehr viel Charme und die Miete ist günstig, auch die Hunde kosten nichts extra, aber durch die Innenausstattung bleibt der Gesamteindruck zwiespältig.
