Wir waren zu zweit am 1, Wochenende nach einer Renovierung im Schwarzwaldhotel. Wegen älterer schlechter Bewertungen waren wir erst skeptisch, was uns erwarten würde. Das Resümee: 5/5 Sternen. Warum: In der Lobby, im Bad o. auf dem Balkon fühlt man sich etwas wie in einer Zeitreise. Man sieht am Baustil, dass das Hotel schon vor ein paar Jahren gebaut wurde. Na und? Ich war viel auf Dienstreisen (D, CH, A, I, GB, IRL, SCO, S, PL, P, SK, TK, etc.) unterwegs. Im Schwarzwaldhotel wäre ich gerne auf Dienstreise gewesen. Die Lobby/die Empfangshalle ist eine der größten und interessant dekoriertesten, die ich je gesehen habe. In d. gemusterten Teppich im Gang z. Zimmer habe ich mich sofort verliebt. Schlüssel ins Schloß, Tür auf und: großzügig und renoviert. Endl. Mal ein Schreibtisch, auf d. ich auch am Rechner mit einem 2. Bildschirm arbeiten kann. Gut: Schrank für Minibar noch ohne Minibar. Egal - einen Stock drunter gibt es bei einem super netten "Barkeeper" schöne Getränke. Das Bad: Ausreichend groß, ein paar gut verschlossene Bohrlöcher in den Fliesen - aber pciobello sauber (Das Zimmer auch). Zwei Stühle mit Sitzkissen und ein kleiner Tisch auf dem Balkon. Auch etwas Zeitreise, aber schöne Sicht in den großen Garten. Sauna: Sanitäreinrichtungen picobello, Sauna und Liegebereich ausreichend groß. Hallenbad: picobello, Am Außenbecken liefen noch Vorbereitungen. Bar/Sitzbereich: Schön groß. Frühstück: Alle Standards in guter Quali vorhanden. Preis-Leistung top.
