Wonderful
This villa is fantastic. It's a lovely modern building but with rustic charm and the setting, in an avocado plantation with banana and kumquat trees, is so peaceful and private.
The pool is perfectly sized and the view from the two terraces down the valley to the sea is great.
The village of Frigiliana is above you on the hill and is no more than 5 mins walk away - it is up a fairly steep hill but nothing impossible.
Jose Manuel is lovely. We only saw him at check in, check out and once when he came to clean the pool. He speaks very little English so a translation app is useful but to be honest we got by fine, it's easy enough to understand each other.
The only other thing to mention is that there are two slightly raised bits of surface on either side at the top of the drive so it's important to make sure you drive out before turning so you don't catch the underside of your car on them. The drive is steep and the crst drops away quickly so although we had an SUV, we scraped it a couple of times. No damage though, just something to bear in mind.
On the whole, a brilliant place to stay in a stunning region.
