Small but very practical room, well designed for a short stay. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Hakata Gion, with easy access to the metro and the train station. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. Great value for money considering the location.

Good location. Entrance to Gion Metro is 35 steps from the front door. On returning use exit 5 but keep in mind the steps are very steep. Accommodations are APA standard, very small rooms and modest Japanese breakfast buffet is a good value. I've stayed here before and will come back on my next trip.

I had a wonderful stay at APA hotel in Gion Fukuoka. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The room was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, with a relaxing atmosphere that made it easy to unwind after a long day.
