The hotel is not too far from Hakata station which is a main point of transportation. Great bars and Yatai are walkable distance.

Only had a smoking room which wasn’t ideal. Also was charged Y1000 for checking out at 11am. Seems checkout is 10am here. Good location though and immediately next to a Family Mart.

As soon as I went to the bathroom there was a piss stain on the toilet seat.... 😕 the room was also very small for about $115 a night. This was during New Years so maybe the price was higher other wise I spent way too much on this room.

Comfort and Simple

The hotel is located in a shopping area of Tenjin. Its located about 300 metre from subway entrance, however, if you would like to take Kuko Line (Airport), you should walk in underground around 1 km. to enter the ticket and platform. The walking corridor is full with shopping malls. This is the sencond time I've been stay with Nishitetsu Inn hotel chains, the standard is slightly above others. However, it comes with a bit higher price. Room cleanliness is Japanese standard, but I felt bad about the towel set is very old. Breakfast looks simple but it's delicious. Overall of my stay at this hotel is 8/10

Great location and price for a typical business hotel; the room is small and clean. The free continental breakfast really isn’t European or North American, still good nonetheless. A sign said they couldn’t guarantee quite. The building is close to a train station, and a church across the street blares out prayers randomly over a sound system. Ask for a room in the back.

A place to sleep after much traveling.

The single room I stayed in for the 3 night was the typical Japanese lodging of small size that while afforded minimal walking space between the desk and the double bed, it is sufficient for the purposes of walking from one end of the room to the other- with just a medium North Face base camp dufflebag and a 30 litre backpack, I had found the room to already be on the verge of “crowded”. There is a stool on castors in lieu of a chair, kept under the desk. The small faced LCD television works fine with VOD options and a range of local Japanese TV programs. The frIdge comes with a convenient switch. No surprises with the bathroom as it has been designed exactly as one you would see in a Japanese home where the faucet can alternate between use for the sink or the bathtub; shower head water pressure is good. I like sleeping on a firm mattress, and the mattress provided was pretty firm, and bare- it felt as though the cushion had worn out leaving the springs obvious to the touch; the pillow was pretty cool being that on one side it was thr usual soft, feather-texture, and when turned over, it was beaded. And also, there were too many mirrors in the room, and an air purifier is provided.

Good place

Nishitetsu Inn Tenjin is a great hotel and the location is pretty good, although a little far to the main subway stations, but still centrally located. The room was clean and nice, the bathroom was also well prepared. The only issue is that the hotel is near a freeway and subway line, which in the morning is a bit noisy. Also there is construction going on.

The wi-fi service was very poor. Could not send emails or contact on cell phone. Limited English speaking staff. Only one person could speak it. No chair in the room ,only stool, so did not help my bad back.

Extremely good value for money!

Only 5 mins walk to Tenjin station/bus terminal. Extremely good value for money compared to other hotels near Tenjin area. Wifi isn't so strong is the only downside. Breakfast is free, but choices are limited, but enough to start u off for the day.
