This is a great location. It is a few minutes walk to the main Hakata station but quiet from all the noises and congestion. The hotel is very clean and restaurant options are plenty. There is a lack of hotel reps though even when we were at the lobby. Compare with other hotels in that area, the lobby is kind of dead and not looking as warming as the picture in Expedia

The hotel overall is a 5*. Especially the front of house staff, Akbota. She spoke excellent English and provided top notch service. Very professional and knowledgeable! Always went over and above the call of duty and went back to our room to help me look for something I left behind after checking out. The hotel itself was very conveniently located. The onsen was nice. The aesthetics very zen and minimal (which was tasteful). The negatives are: 1. There was a strand of hair on the bathroom towel when we initially checked in so it definitely wasn’t ours. 2. The room was very small 3. They have what they deem eco-housekeeping. I’m fine with not changing the sheets daily. However they don’t make the bed nor wash the glasses But overall, the stay was very pleasant and again, kudos to Akbota!!

Compared to other hotels in Japan we have stayed at the room was very spacious. Good facilities, helpful staff and a good location for walking to Hakata station. Also loads of good food spots in the surrounding area.
