Comfortable apartment/studio, ideal for a city vacation by the sea.

This accommodation is open space, meaning that all the areas are common to the same space and are functionally distributed and equipped. With a double bed, a complete bathroom, a kitchenette, a dining area and a living area with cable TV, this studio can accommodate up to 2 adults.

The living room gives access to a small balcony, with an inviting seating area for a moment of leisure, where you can contemplate the sea and the sky on sunny days, while enjoying a coffee and/or a good wine.

In this calm and sunny building there is a communal bar and a small grocery store. Wi-Fi is available in all areas.

AREA

The property is located in Rua da Quinta da Calaça, one of Funchal's tourist areas and within easy reach of the available beaches (paid and free) along the Promenade. This is a privileged area as it is close to the Forum Madeira shopping centre, paddle tennis courts, gardens, restaurants, bars/cafés, shops and other essential services and is a 7 minute drive from the centre of Funchal or 30 minutes on foot. It is also very close to the town of Câmara de Lobos where you can take the opportunity to explore some touristic attractions and taste the famous regional "poncha".

In Funchal city centre there are several touristic points of interest and information about cultural activities, radical activities, nature related activities, whatever the purpose of your visit to Madeira Island.

GETTING AROUND

The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport.

- All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.

ATTENTION

Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. When you arrive, you will receive a link to pay this municipal tax.
