This one-bedroom apartment for two is a perfect escape from the buzz of the city below. It is decorated in a homely, contemporary style, right next to the market and is equipped with all modcons. It couldn't be easier to explore this lovely city.

This modern studio with large windows has one double bed, a bathroom with shower, a kitchenette and a living room with a double sofa bed. This apartment is fully equipped with all modcons including tv, microwave, free wifi and air conditioning.

AREA
Guests have easy access to several restaurants (there's a small coffee on your doorstep), shops and grocery facilities in the area.
Within a 5 minutes walk you can reach the beautiful Market (Mercado dos Lavradores) filled with tropical plants, fruits and flowers, right next to the old town and the marina.

PROPERTY RULES
To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.

• Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• Pets are not permitted.
• Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.

The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property.

In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes.

Municipal tourist tax (when applicable):
€2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival.

Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability.

Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge.

By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions.

OTHER NOTES
All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket.
For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.

Lovely stay

I had a really nice time here! The apartment was lovely but I wish I would've gotten a flat on the 3rd floor as the one on the 1st floor wasn't as nice and was quite dark and noisy in the evenings. The location is perfect and the facilities were also great.

Por mais que queira falar bem da minha estadia neste alojamento local, so tenho aspectos negativos a escrever aqui, Comecemos por na situação que estamos actual do covid este espaco de alojamento local com selo SAFE&CLEAN não tinha nenhum produto de desinfecção, gel, entre outros, obrigado-nos a comprar depois do valor que paguei em que incluia tais coisas. Afirmo aqui também que na descrição deste espaco afirmam que tem tais produtos estao incluidos, que fazem mudanca de lencois, limpesa e nada disso foi realizado na minha estadia de 14 noites em que minha exposa depois de insistir várias vezes tais servicos foi-nos fornecido desde os pordutos de limpeza, lencois, aspirador, vasorra entre outro para ela propria o fazer devido a afirmação: que tais servicos nao iam realizar com a desculpa do covid mas nos outros quartos tirando o nosso fizeram a limpesa. Tinha um so deposito de lixo para 3 andares em que na minha estadia nem uma vez foi retirado ficando cheiro intragavel e ninguem fez nada perante isso. Eu espero que resolvam esta situação o mais rápido possível tendo em conta que tal situação vai ser reportada a direção de turismo da madeira.

Very new apartment and good price

For the price you absolutely can't complain and the decor was lovely. However, the shower smelt awful and there appeared to be a hole in the floor that was covered by a rug. This really didn't effect much though and the location was amazing. I'd reccomend this for short stays where location in Funchal is important.
