We stayed at this hotel for just one night, and honestly, we were quite surprised that it is rated as a 5-star property. In our opinion, it feels more like a 3-star hotel rather than 5.
The room was very small, which we did not expect from a hotel of this category. We had read many positive comments about the breakfast, but in reality it was quite underwhelming. Aside from fresh fruit and kiwi, there was nothing particularly memorable or impressive.
Another detail that felt disappointing was the so-called âwelcome drink.â At reception, you are given two cards to redeem for a drink, but in reality this turned out to be just a glass of juice. For a 5-star hotel, one would expect something more in line with the category â even a small glass of sparkling wine would feel more appropriate. This felt more symbolic than truly welcoming.
The spa schedule is also not very guest-friendly, as services only start at 10:00 AM, which makes it difficult to use them if you have an early departure. Parking is paid and costs âŹ50 per day, which also feels excessive.
To be fair, the hotel is clean, and the furniture and interiors are new and modern. However, overall it does not meet our expectations for a 5-star experience. Unfortunately, we would probably choose a different hotel next time.
