Roaches in room. When we got to assigned room. My husband put down the bags and went to wash his hands and when light came on it bathroom a roach scurried off past mirror and my husband called me to get photo before it disappeared but I missed it. Not to disappoint another roach showed up by the refrig and bar sink area and I got a pic of that one. Bathroom needs a deep clean. Old debris and dirt were in each corner of the bathroom floor. The sitting chair was so dingy and dirty it was obvious a cleaning is in order. There was a sitting bench in corner that was cracked up along edges, if u sit with shorts you’re sure to get legs scratched. Deep cleaning should be done in cycles from time to time and replaced when in poor condition. They weren’t worth the rate.

My room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was very accommodating and professional. The only unpleasant experience I had was during breakfast one morning. The staff attendant monitoring the breakfast area was extremely rude. I approached the area and she appeared to be restocking utensils and condiments. I proceeded to make my plate and I spilled a tiny drop of sausage gravy on the counter and she literally stopped what she was doing and stared at what spilled on to the counter. I wiped it up. She was visibly annoyed and stated “I’ll get it”. I apologized for the spill and said to her “you look upset” and she stated “I don’t look any way. If I was upset I wouldn’t be at work.” All of this attitude for a tiny drop of sausage gravy I spilled on the counter that I wiped up. It was extremely uncalled for and honestly because of this experience I will choose a different hotel the next time I’m in town.
