My experience at the Hyatt was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The room was clean and cozy, and the bed was super comfortable. I loved the breakfast and the attention to detail everywhere. I’ll definitely be staying here again on my next trip!

It was okay. Would have appreciated knowing that in addition to room charge there was a $30 parking fee per day at nearby parking garage. No parking on site. Also quite noisy. The fact that the rooms have packets of ear plugs is a clue that establishment aware.

Cozy stay in a great location. Unfortunately the staff isn't trained to handle food allergies at the breakfast buffet. I communicated with staff prior to my stay to notify them of my Celiac disease and asked for accommodations at the breakfast buffet. When I asked a staff member to serve my breakfast from the back kitchen area she informed me that all food was considered contaminated with gluten and unsafe for me to consume. I was very taken aback by this and frustrated that I had no breakfast option during my long stay

Let’s start with parking 60 dollars for two nights is wild for hotel parking in not a big market, okay chalk it up to whatever but there is not a single space to park to unload or even a pull up to the hotel itself to unload, I unloaded in the garage toted the black and a half to the hotel just to find out the elevator in the garage is broken, we had a corner room looking at the hipp, very pretty but only one nightstand in the room and no plug in on that side of the bed. The room was clean I will give them that and the breakfast was good but the other stuff just makes me say stay away until the can figure out a better parking plan.

We were annoyed that there was only street parking or distant parking garages (both charging parking fees). The reception Was not at entry level but at the second level. The lighting in the room was confusing to use and dim. The TV would not connect to Netflix. The phone didn’t work. The room was in decorated and felt sterile. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The breakfast attendant lady was so welcoming and kind. Overall, it was very beautiful place in a great location.

I'm a fan of Hyatt Place. I''ve stayed at them in many parts of the US and have always been pleased with my stays. This is a good hotel with a big but..... BEWARE!!!!!! There is no guest parking at this hotel. There is also NO VALET service at this hotel. The closest parking is a public parking garage 2 blocks away.

This property is positioned in downtown Gainesville in an incredibly walkable area with shops, restaurants, art offering (theatre) and it seems like no other hotel was which makes this a total find. It was comfortable and people were nice but you literally can't beat the location. Will definitely return.
