Like many country homes, we use well water and a small septic system. The well water is 3rd‑party tested and safe for bathing and washing, though it may occasionally have a slight sulfur smell. You may also see a few Asian lady beetles or box elder bugs during certain seasons. They’re harmless, and while we have regular pest control, country homes naturally get a few visitors.
