Welcome to The Hammock House! Come enjoy the sun and the sea in this beautiful canal front home in picturesque Terramar Beach on Galveston Island! The neighborhood also features a boat ramp, making it easy for you to drop in your boat and be in West Galveston Bay in minutes. This canal home is the first canal off of the bay. Tie your boat at the dock (boat slip available, boat lift is not available), swim or sunbathe in the canal or fish from the deck featuring two underwater green lights. the neighborhood also features a pool. Plus the beach is only 1/2 mile away!

A canal front, two level home with a private dock with two kayaks and two stand up paddleboards for you to paddle out to watch the breathtaking sunsets. Located on the beautiful west end of Galveston Island, one canal from West Bay, fish right off your private dock with green lights!

This waterfront space sleeps 12 comfortably, sits on the beautiful Martes Canal in the desirable Terramar Beach Subdivision and offers easy proximity to both the Bay and to the Beach. Private boat ramp and neighborhood pool!

The sleeping space downstairs has private entry and includes a queen size bed and two sets of twin bunks beds, perfectly set up for a family to enjoy all that waterfront living has to offer! Also in the space is an open concept studio style living and dining area.

The upstairs portion of the home is a 3 bedroom, two bath home with bar seating, dining area, and living area with large TV with Roku to log into your streaming services. Large outdoors patios on both the front and back of home allow for enjoyment of the sunsets, or watching the family fishing downstairs.

The kitchen is equipped with pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, utensils. AC and ceiling fans with additional fans if needed. The living areas have a large, flat screen TV for you to link your Netflix, Hulu, etc.

The home has multiple nice sized decks directly on the canal. A propane grill is provided (propane not included, but many times there is propane from a previous guest). Jump in the canal steps from your door! A swim ladder is available for ease of getting into and out of the water. Two kayaks and two stand up paddleboards are available for you and your family to explore the canals of Terramar and paddle out to watch the sunset. Grill utensils are provided. Watch the family as they reel in their fresh catch, or enjoy your favorite beverage in our large adirondack chairs. Edison lights provide just the right lighting to enjoy those warm summer nights.

We have a private dock for fishing, swimming, kayaking, etc. It includes a fixed ladder to make it easy for you to get out of the canal after that refreshing swim or just sunning on your float. We have two kayaks and two stand up paddleboards for our guests to enjoy. Enjoy a cup of coffee from the deck while enjoying the beautiful bay views.

Linens and bath towels provided but please bring your own beach towels. Beach chairs are also not currently provided.

Please limit vehicles to no more than 4 vehicles and park in the driveway. The driveway can accommodate 4 vehicles, no on street parking please.

Absolutely NO parties, events or “gatherings”. Guests have access to the entire property except for the garage and downstairs bar area. Absolutely no trespassing on neighboring properties. Terramar Beach is a family friendly community, so please be respectful of neighboring properties. Quiet hours for the neighborhood are 10pm-8am.
