Great view.

Great view. Balcony was great but one of the chairs was damaged and was unsafe to use. So we chose not to utilize it. Other than that I wish we could stayed longer:)

The parking fees were more expensive than the add but i felt my rental car was safe in this property, as well as my belongings while i left to explore the island and inland towards Houston. Great experience that I wished lasted longer.

Great independent condo very close to the beach

We had a great time. The benefit of this booking is you know exactly which unit you get. The condo is narrow but our family of 3 managed very well. The unit has the elevator closest to the beach, a hop across the road, and your toes are in the sand. The unit is furthest from the pools, but the proximity to the beach was more important to us. The view from the balcony is a bit inhibited by traffic, but you have a full-on view of the ocean, not at an angle. The traffic noise did not bother us on the porch and we couldn't hear it at all inside. The unit was very clean and well-maintained. The tub drained slowly and the water pressure was low, but this is common in coastal areas. The property itself during Memorial Day weekend had one entry point guarded in the evening watching for parking passes. This caused some traffic inconvenience but the feeling of safety far outweighed any inconvenience — just go right to go left when leaving the property and then it's not even inconvenient. You do have to pay for parking. Listing parking as free is misleading. With this unit you rent from Ryson which has its own hoops to jump through — check your email for documents immediately. You pay for parking to property (Casa del Mar). It was worth it. The stay was great. We had beautiful weather and the beach was calm and clear (I grew up on the coast and I've never seen my feet in waist-deep water before but we did on this trip!). A bit far from the touristy part of the crowded end of the island.
