Dirty Hotel, dirty inside and outside, smelled bad, broken or non working items like windows, doors, laundry room, no bulbs in any lights in room, beds were awful.

Nice location but the hotel room was run down. Ripped shower curtains, spots on floors, damages to the door. The bed frame was makeshift with metal bars the kids kept hitting. The guests above us were loud and bouncing some type of ball every morning.
Balcony room was perfect for walks to the beach.
Pool was indoor which was a plus

You can tell the property is not new at all, but that’s not the issue. I would just recommend for the staff to really pay attention to the cleanliness. There was hair all over the bathroom floor from previous people. All corners all covered with dirt and built up debris. Balcony was pretty dirty. Staff is very nice though, which we appreciated. Hotel is right across the street from the beach so the access was pretty easy.

This place is a dump!!! I cannot even believe how dirty this place was and for a ridiculous amount of money!!! The view from the joke of a balcony was dirty men’s underwear!!! You definitely stay here at your own risk!!! The room was seedy!!! I cannot believe people stay there just bc it’s close to the beach! If not for the kids I would have left and called credit card co for a refund! The place should be condemned!!!

Smelled a little old but being that it's near the salt water I've come to to the realization that all hotels/motels and rental homes in the Galveston area have the same smell. Breakfast was nothing fancy. The pool was good. Balconys in the room make for a nice view of the city and partial ocean view. But it was nice. The AC was good but could have cooled to a lower temperature. We would stay here again.

The good things were: this hotel very close to the beach, it was cheap in comparison with other hotels in the area, the breakfast was good, and the room was clean. And the parking was free and the air conditioner worked. The bad things were: The soda machines were sold out and I lost a dollar in one of them, the hotel would not reimburse me. The pool area was filthy. The fitness room was a storage room. In my room the toilet paper holder was broken, and one of the bed lights was out. The staff never smiled and we’re not friendly. Also the room was not a suite, no couch etc.and to get clean towels you had to take your towels to the desk and exchange them for clean ones.

It was so nice during the 4th of July weekend. Sitting out on the balcony and people watching was so much fun. Watching the fireworks was great. The beds were so comfortable. I will be staying there more.
