Vacation is all about location and this renovated home is right on Galveston Bay. A fisherman's dream with a sling boat lift, submerged and overhead fishing green lights. Bring a float or use our two kayaks and enjoy a protected cove or paddle out to Galveston Island National State Park. Unwind upstairs with seating for 8 on the balcony that looks upon the bay & wetlands. Head over to Jamaica Beach Coast side and enjoy building sandcastles, fishing or just sit and relax.
The renovated home features upstairs all new cabinets, floors, bathrooms with carrera marble and subway tiles plus new TVs through out. The kitchen is oversized and allows for many to congregate with out feeling confined. The dining area can comfortably seat 14.
Upstairs has 2 central AC units and ground level has a wall AC unit as well as a portable AC unit. Please note: **The ground level is not accessible from within the top floor. It has a separate entry downstairs.
If you choose to bring a boat you can enjoy the private dock with a sling boat lift (easily lifts a 24 foot center console), a fish cleaning station with sink, a propane grill and oversized picnic table for 12 to enjoy those fish you catch. There is a submerged and overhead green light that attracts all varieties of gamefish. If you prefer to charter a boat you can get picked up right from our dock. You may put your boat in at the Jamaica Beach Marina - there is a $10 launch fee. There are bicycles, a cornhole game, 1 tandem and one single kayak, multiple crab traps and sand toys all for your enjoyment.
Jamaica Beach is 10 minutes from the heart of Galveston and has it's own Fire and Police department. There is a public pool you can enjoy seasonally for a small fee, a public park with playground and basketball goal. There is a private boat ramp, a liquor store, hardware store & washateria. We are a few miles from Seven Seas Grocery Store and the bait shop. This area also boasts a multitude of restaurants. Jamaica Beach on the gulf side is a private beach just beyond the public parking area. During the summertime on weekends the private beach is accessible to golf carts only. The neighborhood allows golf cart usage within and to access the beach. You must be a licensed driver. Rent one and have it waiting upon your arrival.
IMPORTANT HOUSE RULES! We want you to have a great stay but the following rules must be followed. Please review BEFORE reserving the home...
- This is not a party house. Prom groups and parties are not allowed.
- The maximum occupancy at this home as per the city of Jamaica beach is 10.
- Guests must be at least 25 years of age to reserve the home and adult guests may not rent the home on behalf of underage guests.
- No underage drinking.
- No loud music or other disturbances to the neighboring residents.
- No trespassing onto neighboring properties.
- After the booking, we will verify all reservation details by phone and/or email within 24 hours.
Lost keys are subject to $50 charge for getting new key made by manager service
PETS: Up to 2 well behaved pets upon owner approval and a $100 non refundable pet fee.
There is a leash law. Please follow it for the safety of your pet. Renters are responsible for cleaning up after any and all pet refuse. Any evidence of pets on furniture may incur extra cleaning fees. All pets must be up to date on all vaccinations. All pets are to be treated with a topical flea and tick repellent at least 3 days prior to arrival. Pets should be crated when left alone inside the property. All items above are the responsibility of the renter. The owner assumes no responsibility for illness or injury to pets or humans while on this property. Additional cleaning fees will be incured if owner must clean pet refuse after check out. Pet fees are taxable.
