Only thing was our hand soap dispenser was empty but they came and filled it up but when we went to take our showers the shampoo dispenser was empty and didn’t feel like letting someone in our room to fill it. Also commode lid needs to be adjusted. Other than that our stay was ok

Parking is not included. There was a major plumbing issue which then caused us to leave our room during a portion of the day. There was no consideration for this inconvenience. The pool is not heated.

I had a pleasant stay at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Galveston Beach. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel’s beachfront location is excellent, offering easy access to the beach and nearby attractions. The complimentary breakfast provided a good variety of options. However, I noticed that the elevator remained dirty for two days due to spills, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning, hoping for improved attention to common area cleanliness.

My main complaint is the dirty floor in the room. After walking barefoot, the sole of my feet was black. The faux wood flooring masks the dirt very well. I'm unsure when the last time the floor saw a wet mop.... It should be done after each guest at minimum. I was in the room during room service and the floor was only swept. There are now very convenient devices that brush hard surfaces and suck up the dirty water. A must here! Besides that it is a nice property.
