Girls Trip

Great location in historic Galveston

Spacious with plenty of places to sit and talk, a nice patio we enjoyed for breakfast, and the whole family loved the shuffleboard. We walked to the pleasure pier and short drive everywhere!

We had a lovely stay. Beautiful old home. So spacious and very nicely refurbished The beds were amazing, but the big tub in the master bathroom was fabulous! Loved by our entire party. Would definitely book this place again.

Perfectly Perfect

This is one of the best VRBOs we've had the pleasure of staying at. The location was great! Easy walk to Pleasure Pier, the beach and restaurants. Plenty of room for everyone. Very clean and the hosts were easy to communicate with before, during and after our stay. I would highly recommend Mimi's House!!

Simply bliss!

What a wonderful location for comfort and peace. We just loved our stay. The street was quiet and the surrounding neighbors were friendly. The home met all or our needs. It was clean, spacious and conveniently located, within easy reach to the beach, the Strand, and restaurants. The surroundings were simply gorgeous on most of the street. The owners left very clear instructions that were easy to follow for check-in and check-out. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat!

One of a kind!

Our family stayed at Mimi's house for a few days before going on a cruise. Such an awesome area to explore and hang out in! Unfortunately it rained and was windy the whole time! but because the house is so awesome we enjoyed staying in and the granddaughter's highlight of their stay was learning how to play shuffleboard! We all had a lot of fun! the area couldn't have been any better. Mimi's home was defiantly comfortable and met our needs.

Classic Galveston Experience

Mimi's House was amazing. The architecture, inside and out, and attention to detail created an impressive and relaxing environment. Light colors, hardwood floors, lots of windows, super comfortable beds and pillows, spacious bathrooms, along with a well-stocked kitchen and washer and dryer all contributed to a great stay. Our family really enjoyed the shuffle board as it quickly became an evening activity. We have stayed at a number of short term rental homes over the years and I can honestly say that Mimi's House is up there with the best of them.
