This rental was clean and family friendly. It was actually one of the first rentals we’ve been in on the Island that was actually cool upon arrival. We really appreciated that as we had a van load of stuff to bring up a flight of stairs. It located in a neighborhood that felt safe and quiet. The property had everything that was listed on the site. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay!

This historic home is fantastic! It was updated and still kept its charm. Everything worked perfectly. No issues with any bed besides my own personal taste. The house is absolutely stunning. The wood just screams history. Especially when your wife loves watching restoring Galveston while in a restored house. I really want to point out the tile ceiling in the master bath that was really well done. Ac works great all fans operational, which is very important in texas coast. The kitchen is huge plenty of space. Tbe only thing we wish improved on would be a history of the house book or information spot. Our stay at this historical beach house was truly unforgettable. The property carries a rare charm—beautifully preserving its history while offering all the comforts of a relaxing coastal retreat. Every detail, from the weathered wood accents to the thoughtfully chosen furnishings, tells a story and adds to the sense of place.What we appreciated most was the balance between authenticity and comfort: modern amenities are seamlessly blended into the historic character, allowing us to feel the spirit of the past without sacrificing convenience. This is the perfect place to stay if you want to be close but not right up in the middle of everything. We loved the convenience of how close everything was but not being in the center of the chaos on the seawall. The house was cozy & immaculate. We really liked the antique charm! We did have a slight problem getting into the home upon arrival but the host was very quick in contacting us & resolving the issue immediately! This home was also extremely family friendly!

no privacy

the property was clean, but i felt like i was being watched the whole time i was there. we didn't like that there was nothing covering the kitchen windows or bathroom windows. we went brought tacks and used blankets to cover windows. we didn't feel safe or wanted in that area. contact was great with the person renting. the tubs and height is dangerous, if we had, had a elderly person with us, there's no way they could've step in and out the tubs without assistance. they get 5 stars for cleanliness. but need to work on everything else that was mention.

Host was quick with messages and staying in communication with us. Was nervous about street parking, can’t use garage too small but wasn’t an issue at all.. Nice neighborhood.. We had a 1.5, 13,18 plus my husband and I.. there was plenty of room. Would recommend and definitely will stay there again!
