Clean older property

This is an older property that needs refreshed. The room we stayed in was clean enough and comfortable for the one night. The price was good. The room decor was very dark. The breakfast was okay. No meat or eggs. Waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereal, toast and muffins.

The pool was so cold, and the staff was ok. Definitely if your kids love to swim do not vacation here, the pool is extremely cold and there is no spa/Jacuzzi, the breakfast is very basic. And the same overall the property was clean and sanitize.

We found the location to be convenient to south Houston, and especially to Galveston (and beach). For the modest price, we found this to be good value. The staff were cheery and happy to help with information or to address any issue. Breakfast was simple, but a nice extra touch. Coffee was always available in the lobby. AC was good, and there was always plenty of hot water.

So the reviews on here say that it was better than what it is I will say that they are battling a roach infestation, and the beds are not comfortable the room look clean and smell clean, but when I woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom there were roaches everywhere we packed our stuff and left

Room was broken down and in need of basic repairs. Towel holder rusted end to end, TP holder broken, holes all in walls from refurb work, linens stained, microwave rusted on inside, and AC blowing disgusting musty air. We debated booking another room but after a full dousing with febreeze decided not to waste the money. I’m not one those that complain about every little thing, but I will not book this facility again.

Musty, old and moldy!

Check in was fast, but as soon as we got to the room we opened the door and the nasty smell of mold was circulating by the old air con unit! This place is a dump! Definitely needs updating and a deep cleaning! Check out the pics I took!! The beds were uncomfortable and they need to replace the sheets, blankets and pillows and shower head!! We def won’t be coming back here ever!!

Staff was very nice. Everything was clean. Elevators were broke so some of family had to carry luggage up stairs to their room. That was just a inconvenience that was not really a big deal and was out of anyones control. It is what it is. I booked here because the price was good and would book here again.

Not so great...

Rooms were not clean as there was hair everywhere in the bathroom/shower. The rooms have mold and one of the 3 rooms looked to have blood in it. It was 1 night before our cruise so we just sucked it up. We won't stay there again.
