Enjoy fantastic views from this sister condo to the Dancing Mermaid, perfect for large family and friend gatherings. The unit features an in-unit washer and dryer, coastal-inspired décor, and comfortably accommodates eight guests with two king-sized beds and overhead twin beds (bunks) in the secondary bedroom. The beautiful, open kitchen includes a breakfast bar and is fully equipped with full-size appliances, including a wine rack. The kitchen is also stocked with dinnerware, pots and pans, glasses, coffee makers (both drip and Keurig), and cooking utensils. Please note that there may be some variations in furnishings or decor since the photographs were taken.

The property has wonderful amenities to discover and enjoy while staying at Salty Mermaid. Three pools (one of which is heated), a hot tub, poolside grills, picnic tables, chaise loungers and poolside seating...as well as a volleyball area...all in a relaxing tropical setting. Additional outdoor activities include ping-pong and bean bag toss.

Due to the ongoing construction and in the interest of Safety, the Maravilla business office will be located in unit 121. This is where you will need to go to pay your parking.
A parking fee must be paid to Maravilla office upon arrival. The office does not accept cash. Parking Rules and prices are as follows:
1) Parking Rates will be set at $10.00 per car per day PLUS Sales tax
2) Trailers (Motorcycle) will be charged the same rate as cars and are limited to special event weekends such as Biker Rally Weekend. No other time are trailers of any sort allowed to be parked at Maravilla.
3) Per day rates will be capped after $70.00 per 30 day time period, and the per day rate will start over again on the 31st day.

Galveston is an amazing and fun community! There are so many different things to do and see...there truly is something for everyone. Within walking distance of Dancing Mermaid, you'll find go-carts and miniature golf, fishing and dining at Jimmy's on the Pier, batting cages, and our local movie theater. Moody Gardens Golf Course is located nearby, as is the entire Moody Gardens experience and our world-famous waterpark, Schlitterbahn. In town, enjoy one of many fabulous restaurants that offer everything from fine dining to international cuisine to some of the best burgers around. If shopping is your thing, visit The Strand and Post Office where quaint shops and art galleries abound. You won't want to miss Mod Coffeehouse or Hey, Mikey's Ice Cream! The Grand 1894 Opera House offers some of the best entertainment and shows in Texas, featuring headliners from across the country, as well as an historic setting for live theatre. And, we love our festivals and special events here in Galveston! Mardi Gras, Lone Star Biker Rally, Dickens on the Strand, and the numerous triathlons, marathons and walk-a-thons are popular events throughout the year. Bird watching, kayaking, and fishing of all kinds round out the many outdoor activities enjoyed by both locals and visitors alike.

We welcome our guests and work diligently to make their experience at Salty Mermaid memorable. However, we only rent to adults over the age of 25 and families. Maravilla is one of only a few "pet friendly" properties in Galveston. Home is dog friendly for up to 2 pets. $100.00 non-refundable fee for the 1st pet and $50 non-refundable fee for the 2nd pet. 25lb limit. No cats allowed. Guest must contact our office prior to arrival to make arrangements for payment of pet fee and/or signature on a pet addendum.. We do ask that all property rules regarding pets are strictly followed.Photo identification is required. All fees and services may be subject to 15% tax.

We were here for 4 nights so that our 7 year old could attend a 3 day summer daycamp. The condo had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We were able to work from the condo while our daughter was at camp and then had a great time in the pool every evening. We would love to stay here again.

This is a gorgeous condo. It looks just like in the pictures. We really appreciated all the little touches (blankets for the living room, beach towels). We vacationed in July and didn't use the deck very much, but we would love to go back in the fall or spring because the deck was just amazing. It would be so lovely to have coffee or dinner out there. My only criticism was that the water pressure in the master shower was not very good. Everything else was perfect. I highly recommend this condo.

We came here in April and returned in September. This is the only place we've stayed in more than once. When the biggest issue you face is a night light with dead batteries, you can't really ask for a more perfect place. Everywhere else we've stayed over the years had some issue that caused us to keep looking. We're done looking.

This condo was everything and more. We have stayed at other Maravilla condos but this one was by far our favorite. Spacious, kitchen well equipped, laundry essentials. Our kids loved the bunk beds and the KING size bed in the spare room. Beds are comfy and AC works really well, it was a must for being summer time and a pregnant wife. We will be back like we are every summer but will definitely try to book this same condo.

We loved the Salty Mermaid! So much room, very open and tons of light — just a very nice place. It was so close to everything. The balcony was SWEET! We were so pleasantly surprised and felt like the photos just don’t do it justice. We loved the property and felt very safe. Really convenient to have the dedicated pet areas and it even had a dog wash on site! We will definitely be back soon!

Beautiful and spacious condo with all the luxuries of home! Plenty of space for our 4 adults & 3 teens. Condo has been beautifully renovated and has every convenience we needed. We especially like the high ceilings and separate bedrooms and full baths which meant we were never “on top of” each other. We tend to cook in and the kitchen was well-appointed. Management was extremely responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Fun family getaway

We had a great experience at the Salty Mermaid. Spacious, clean, well decorated, and the deck is AMAZING. Beds were comfy. The location is great, easy access to everything Galveston has to offer. The pool was fun and refreshing. The only thing I can suggest is that the kitchen could be better appointed. There were only 2 coffee mugs in the cabinet, but there were 5 of us. And, it would be nice to have some glass dishes, measuring cups, and simple salt and pepper.

Great stay! Accurate description of property, no concerns. Plenty of towels and bathroom toiletries, beach towels too! Lots of kitchen supplies and utensils but absolutely no kitchen pantry items(oil, salt & pepper/spices) so pack accordingly. Property is older but very well maintained and patrolled nightly by management. Construction at front of property did not affect our stay at all. Would definitely book again and go back!

Highly recommend!

Amazing property with great owners that care about their guests. Easy to check in, lots of parking options and the place was SUPER clean. It has all the basics plus items for the beach. Having the washer and dryer onsite helps us pack lighter. The property is well maintained, clean, safe and they have a security walking around on site. The heated pool is great for kids! Its located right across the beach.The property is going through renovations but that did not affect our stay at all. We would definitely come back!
