Der Garten ist sehr schön. Ich würde dieses Haus im Sommer jederzeit empfehlen. Sonst ist es durch die herrlichen Bäume im Haus nicht hell und man braucht immer Licht. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. In der Nähe (ca. 2 KM) ist das sehr gute Restaurant XXX, das man leider nur über die Strasse erreichen kann. Im Oktober war es ab 19:30 Uhr leider stockdunkel und auf der Strasse für uns (82/69) zu gefährlich. Das Haus läuft auch unter dem Namen Villa Camporbiano 1, La Canonica. Elektrische Torverriegelung existiert nicht mehr. Aber auch manuell ist es gut gesichert.

Mooi huis en geweldige tuin

Wij hebben twee weken met veel plezier op de eerste verdieping van dit huis doorgebracht. De verhuurder (gezin met twee kleine kinderen) woont op de begane grond. We waren met 5 personen (gezin met 3 volwassen kinderen). Met drie slaapkamers en badkamers en een uitgebreide keuken gaat dat prima. Alle ramen zijn van rolhorren voorzien en dat is hard nodig. Alle slaapkamers hebben ventilatoren. Door de dikke muren en luiken voor de ramen is een airco niet nodig. De (eigen) tuin is fantastisch, zeker met het mooie uitzicht over het dal. Er staan stoelen, ligstoelen en er hangt een hangmat. Het zwembad was geweldig en werd iedere week schoongemaakt. Wij hadden geen behoefte aan de jacuzzi, maar die was helaas niet schoon. Het huis ligt aan een weg waar regelmatig verkeer overheen komt, dus dat hoor je wel. San Gimignano ligt op 10-15 minuten rijden en daar is ook een supermarkt. Siena en Florence zijn binnen het uur bereikbaar. Wel rijd je eerst altijd over bochtige binnen weggetjes van slechte kwaliteit. Dat mocht voor ons de pret niet drukken.

Heerlijk vakantiehuis in de heuvels van Toscane

Het was weer heerlijk. Nu voor de tweede keer hier geweest en het was opnieuw een heerlijke vakantie. Het huis is geweldig en de tuin erom heen geeft je veel privacy. XXX en XXX doen er alles aan om het naar je zin te maken en dat het aan niets ontbreekt. Vanuit het zwembad is het uitzicht over de het dal Magisch, en met een schitterende zonsondergang sluit je elke dag fantastisch af. Volgend jaar weer! Wij vinden het echt een aanrader.
