Ideally situated

The apartment in Garrucha is ideally situated with a large balcony overlooking the harbour. During the day you can watch the boats come and go and it has a nice beach only a few metres away. Although it is on the front the bedrooms are located at the back of the apartment so you can get a good nights sleep. The living room is nicely furnished and the kitchen is well equipped. There is a bus stop just outside that can take you to Vera or Mojacar but a walk along the seafront to Vera is recommend and the bus to Mojacar shopping centre in the other direction. There is a market every Friday in Garrucha that is well worth a visit and the fresh fruit & veg is great value. There are plenty of restaurants and bars close by with El Sultan being our favourite. It's a Lebanese restaurant and the owner Tony makes sure you have a great time and his wife puts on a belly dancing show! The Millionaire bar in Vera is the place to go if you want to watch English Premier League football where you will get a warm welcome from Colin and Winnie. The owner of the apartment did everything to make sure that our stay was a pleasant experience and the communication was good. It would have been nice if the apartment would have had wifi but it wasn't too much of a problem as most of the restaurants and bar give you free access. We had a great stay and would recommend this apartment.
