The cabin was very accessible and the rental company did a great job in providing us with everything that we needed to know prior to going. We had no trouble getting in upon arrival. It was in an excellent location to downtown Gatlinburg but still felt very secluded. The driveway was a little steep but definitely not a deal breaker. The listing is accurate that it won’t hold more than three cars and we had exactly that many. There is a great grocery store less than 10 minutes away from the cabin. The cabin carpet in the bedrooms were dated, and the wallpaper was peeling off the wall in the upstairs bedroom. The upstairs bathroom tub did not drain well and the toilet seat was also loose making you feel like you might slip off at any moment. The downstairs bedroom was a little unkept with cobwebs and spiders. Each bedroom did have a comfortable King bed and private bathroom. Just make sure you’re on the main floor if you don’t like to climb stairs. The cabin had the bare necessities as far as trash bags, bath soap, paper towels, and dish soap. Other cabins that I have stayed in were better stocked, so if you’re planning on staying more than a couple of days make sure to bring your own or buy some once you get there. Finally, make sure you lock your car doors! We had a big bear visit and open our car door and leave hair and a dirty print in my back seat. It sounds cute unless they rip up your vehicle looking for food. A guy told us it happened to cars.
