Everything about this hotel is great except for the breakfast area which is a little small. Our room is spacious, tried the outdoor pool. Indoor pool has cold water. Location is great, near everything!!!

Always a good option.

We always love staying here because the location is hard to beat. We were hoping for a higher up room as requested but not a deal breaker. This hotel almost always has conditioner/shampoo in their hand soap spot which again is no big deal, but odd. The rooms are always clean. We booked a private balcony and we newer out right next to another balcony without privacy at all. Luckily no one came out to sit when we did, or I would’ve been very upset to pay for a private balcony and that’s what we got. They didnt seemed booked up so I was disappointed to be put in the room we were. Their breakfast seems to be upgraded and actually pretty good. If you want a hotel with good prices, and convenient to town this should definitely be at the top of your list. We will be back.

I'll be back!

Initially there was an issue with the TV in the room we got. 10 minutes of the maintenance man deciding he couldn't fix it and it needed a new TV we were moved to an ever nicer room. The staff was so responsive and understanding. The breakfast was delicious and hot. Were plenty of options. The staff at this hotel Works very hard to make sure everybody is comfortable. There are 2 pools 1 indoor and one outdoor. Both were nice but I really enjoyed using the outdoor pool. The parking was perfect because you were the center of downtown. Everything we needed was within walking distance.

Ants took over the room.

There were ants all over the sink inside the bathroom. We did notify the hotel staff and they sprayed twice, but it did not help at all. There was a dead roach as well. I have videos and pictures as evidence. The staff weren't friedly at all. In addition, there was no hot water. We reserved two rooms and hot water was not avaliable in both rooms. The overall cleanliness of this place was terrible. I would not recommend this place at all to anybody.

A room with a view

The staff were so friendly. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of Gatlinburg. Even though it was on the Main Street it was very quiet. It is an older hotel, but well maintained. The is some covered parking available. Our section of the hotel had balconies with great views.

Avoid this place

We book this hotel because it has a hot tub listed as an amenity and because the reviews said it was clean. The hot tub was broken and there was a sign that said that “the hot tub is not a listed amenity.” Uh yes it was. If you want to fell like you’re staying in Tijuana Mexico then this is your place. Oh and the “breakfast” buffet is a joke. Do yourself a favor. Sleep on the sidewalk or your car before you drop 200 dollars a night on this dump

Good location - terrible housekeeping

I really hoped for better, considering the hotel carried the Ramada/Wyndham label. The positive - hotel was very well situated in the center of Gatlinburg. That left us with plenty to do without having to drive. The cost of our lodging was also very reasonable. The negative - The hotel is somewhat aged and needs some upgrades. The outside pool was not working as it needed to be shocked (color was green). When I asked the front desk, they said the person who took care of it left and they didn't have anyone qualified to take care of it. The big negative - Housekeeping was terrible. When we checked in, there were no washcloths. I went to the front desk the next day and picked some up. That day, housekeeping came in, made the beds, emptied the trash, and did nothing to the bathroom. The same used towels were still on the floor. Again, I went to the from desk and they said that they would have someone do a full clean the next day. We were out most of that day and returned about 3pm. Finally, at about 330pm, someone from housekeeping showed up and wanted to clean our room. I said just give me clean towels and don't bother coming in. Our final day, I just left the Do Not Disturb tag hanging as I had clean towels and didn't need them to come in for a half-a$$ job. At checkout, I again let the desk know of my dissatisfaction with housekeeping. He said that they had some turnover and were still getting up to speed. How hard is it to train someone to clean a room?

We liked the breakfast and location. Staff was friendly and checking in and out was easy. The room was clean. The hot tub and pool were closed, which was a bummer. Wish there was more parking too.
