Log Heaven PET-FRIENDLY, BEAR SIGHTING, HOT TUB

We would like to welcome our new cabin "Log Heaven" to our Cabins at St. Moritz family. Log Heaven is one-quarter mile down the road from the other Cabins at St. Moritz properties. Customer service is our focus and we strive for guests returning to our cabins. Log Heaven features a large master bedroom with a king size bed with a new mattress, a 42 inch HD smart TV, cable, internet with an adjoining full bath. The fully stocked kitchen features new appliances, a breakfast bar with stools and a full kitchen table that can accommodate two or four guests. The family room features new leather sofa and loveseat which includes a pull-out queen size bed with memory foam mattress facing a beautiful stone wood burning fireplace and a Large 50 inch HD smart TV with cable and internet. The upstairs loft area has a full-size pool table, and a half bath. Relax on the covered front deck for bear watching or relaxing in the outdoor Hot Tub.

Your pets are welcome to our cabin for an extra $75 fee. Please add this to your reservation to avoid withdrawal from your deposit after you check out.

The cabin is located on top of Chalet Village off Ski Mountain Road. The cabin borders the Smoky Mountain Nation Park with close proximity to the city of Gatlinburg (3.5 Miles) The location also features easy access to Pigeon Forge for trips to Dollywood and dinner shows. The cabin is great for a romantic couples weekend or a getaway with the kids. The roads leading up to the cabin are steep and mountainous*

Great cabin for our long weekend stay! Had pretty much everything we needed. No direct mountain views but glimpses as you travel to the cabin and only 10 mins from the national park. Be bear aware, we had these visitors come right down and around the house on our last night!!

Vacation on the Smokies

Well equipped and comfortable cabin up on a mountain 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg. Cool scene with very steep windy roads and beautiful homes. Lots of bears. Convenient to the park. There's a footpath steps from the driveway that was perfect for dog walks. The Gatlinburg trail was another close and relatively flat place to walk dogs. We enjoyed sitting on the porch after a morning hike and playing video games with the old fashioned console!

Beary Good Visit

This cabin up in the mountains is a wonderful place to stay. The hot tub out on the balcony is a great spot to sit and just enjoy being in the trees. Our dog really enjoyed sitting out there and getting lots of smells or barking at the squirrels running through. We did manage to lock ourselves out on the balcony, which with some help from the owners and cleaning staff helped get us out within half an hour; just be aware that you unlock both locks before shutting the door.You will see bears. One morning we had one just at the bottom of the stairs to go inside. Each evening we drove back we saw a bear in someone's driveway or just off to the side in the trees. (Also we highly recommend packing bear repellant if you plan on doing any hiking in the Smokies, as we did run into one at Rainbow Falls.)Be aware though that the house is at the top of some very steep roads so it will test your car's breaks. I wouldn't recommend taking any vehicle that can't confidently make it up or down hills. Overall, we felt safe and comfortable the whole time. It was the perfect space for our visit. Thanks for allowing dogs, having him along made our trip.

The Bear experience

This was one of our favorite vacations. The cabin was the perfect size for my husband, our dog and me. The roads are not for the light hearted and I would not travel them in the dark. We saw bear everyday, everywhere which is a bonus for us. The hot tub is a must after a long day of hiking and activities. The pool table and video games were our evening activities. Skye(our dog) was in love with the deck so she could alert us of the wild life from a distance. Would definitely stay again.

The cabin is great. We saw bears everyday. The only suggestion I would have is a few towel hooks would be great to provide a place for the wet towels and also why are all of the smoke alarms removed and placed in closets and dresser drawers?! Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful Cabin very cleantastefully decorated anything you could possibly need for your stay host was hands down the best. Hot tub was very clean and hot when we got there Dogs love the property made it easy to clean up after them. Oh, and the best part bear sightings from the front door. Awesome stay will do it again.

Great place, loved it.

For a small family and a pet, this is perfect. The hosts took good care to keep it clean. We were lucky to see a black bear on one of the mornings. The hot tub experience was a big hit especially since the weather was a bit cold.

Quiet, Relaxing Weekend!!

Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful and cozy cabin. It was magical to watch the snow fall up on the mountain and enjoy the Christmas decorations that were still up in Gatlinburg. Our pups enjoyed the stay as well. Thank you for allowing dogs to stay with their humans. My only advice if you stay here is to get there before dark. We kept missing the driveway when we first got there. LOL. We were fine after that initial drive though. I would like go come back when we can spot some bears.
