The cabin is not what was advertised. We thought we were getting the whole cabin to ourselves upstairs and downstairs. This cabin is two rentals into one basically. The upstairs is rented and the downstairs is a separate rental. We were in the downstairs unit. Space was small. When we got there we had to clean and wash the sheets. The floors were dirty and the sheets were dirty. Hairs all in the sheets. Then we started noticing how cheaply the cabin had been restored. Everything was cheaply done. The only thing that is beautiful is the wood ceilings. The floors are cheap, the walls and paint are cheap. The shower and cabinets cheap. I opened the dishwasher and it fell out of the cabinet. I had to push it back in best I could. I didn’t even try to use it. I don’t think it was connected and I don’t think it worked. The electric outlets were sticking out of the walls only partially in the wall. Not enough electrical outlets. The stairs going down to our unit was worn out. The steps need to be replaced they are giving a lot. The wood. Also not enough lights. We had to use our flashlight to even see how to walk down. Also full of leaves. Easy to slip and fall. If not careful. The fire pit outside not working and the outside furniture dirty. Also leaves all over. Needs to be blown off for guests. We were not in the room much at all thankfully. But it needs so much attention to be a great rental. Pictures very misleading and also description is misleading. Proximity was good all.

We stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend and it was amazing. The host replys to messages almost immediately and the cabin was perfect. Its very close to town but just far enough away to feel secluded. We would most definitely stay here again.
