Beautiful facility; I wish we'd have had more time to explore. Price was reasonable compared to places closer to city, but taxi cost to get there was 90 Euro. Fascinating history was explained with great pride by lady at front desk. The breakfast was lovely. Within walking distance of train station, but there are no station personnel, so know what train you need.

I am happy to have had the experience of the Villa and the beautiful grounds. However the room I was given was very old, out dated, and the acoustics were terrible... very strange clicking sounds (pipes creaking perhaps?) with ear plugs I would have gone crazy.

Upon arrival the front desk staff were nice but not very welcoming. They handed us our room key and didn’t tell us anything about the amenities or free breakfast at the hotel. We had to keep asking questions. The rooms were clean but the carpet is old and stained in the rooms and hallways. The AC did not work in our room. We chose this hotel to stay one night before flying out of Milan. It was fine for that but would not stay here for a vacation. We walked to town and that had little to offer as well.

Bon séjour à la villa Cagnola

Très jolie villa avec un trés beau panorama. Personne à l'accueil très sympa qui parle le français, ce qui a été un plus pour nous qui ne parlons pas trés bien anglais ni italien. Les chambres sont simples, manque peut être un touche italienne dans les chambres, ce qui donnerait un petit plus. Le petit déjeuné était très varié et très bon.

Das Hotel hat eindeutig schon bessere Tage gesehen. Es ist inzwischen ein deutlicher Sanierungsstau aufgelaufen, sodass das Gebäude weniger Villa ist als Herberge. Der Nachtportier war sehr zuvorkommend. Das inkludiert Frühstück in Ordnung. Für eine Nacht OK.

Het hotel oogt erg idyllisch, maar is uiteindelijk matig onderhouden. De airco werkt amper en het stapelbed voor de kinderen ja erg wankel. Daarnaast is het ontbijt vrij matig en beperkt. Overal prima voor een nachtje, maar qua uitstraling en uitzicht verwacht je meer.

Het is een mooi stijlvol oud gebouw. We hebben een familiekamer geboekt omdat we op doorreis zijn. Voor de kinderen staat er een stapelbed op de kamer, echter is dit nogal instabiel. Erger is dat er niet het juiste beddengoed aanwezig is voor dit stapelbed. Helaas kon de airco op de kamer niet opboksen tegen de hitte, dit compenseerde de unit door de hele nacht een oude wasmachine te imiteren. Alles negatief? Nee hoor! De ontvangst was vriendelijk en meer dan prima. De tuin en het uitzicht is top. Het ontbijt was heerlijk. Voor ons was dit een prima tussenstop.
